Team Collaboration Features on a Mac:

Team collaboration is a vital aspect of Priority Matrix. Once your team is added to the account and projects are started, you can begin working together. While everyone on the project fall under the umbrella of “team,” collaborators differ from team members because collaborators have their own Priority Matrix license or interact with the app through their email.

Collaborators vs Team Member:

  • Virtually anyone with an email address and can interact with projects from their emails, even if they are not a Priority Matrix user.
  • Team members, on the other hand, get their Priority Matrix license through you.
  • You must purchase a multi-user license to add team members who can access the app’s full functionality.

Add somebody to project:

  • Select the project you would like to be shared and go over to the right hand side of the screen.
  • Click the plus icon, and from there you can select as many people you want to share the project with.
  • Once the project is shared with them, they have access to everything within the project.
  • You can remove them by selecting their name from the from the list they were just added too, and select remove.

If you’ve been invited to join an existing project as a teammate, this “pending request” will be held within the project icon on the left hand side, and from there you can select the project, and accept the invitation.

Follow a project:

  • When somebody follows a task, they will receive direct notifications about this task.
  • Select the task you want to share, and go to the right panel.  Select invite, then invite who you would like to follow that task

Delegating specific task:

  • Go to the exact task, and select the avatar next to it. A list of your teammates will appear, and you can chose the specific team member you want to assign the task to.
  • This will alert them that this is their responsibility to complete.
  • Teammates can reassign tasks as needed by clicking the avatar and selecting a different teammate or by typing in a new email address.
