Syncing your Google calendar with your Priority Matrix tasks helps ensure that you don’t miss an important deadline or forget that something is coming up that should be on your radar. Depending on your calendar server, you will want to read or watch the appropriate tutorial. You can find Outlook calendar here, and the remainder of this page will focus on Google.

Here’s how to do it with Google calendar:

  1. Go to the View option on the top of the screen. Select that and go down to the “Calendar” tab.
  2. This will open to a screen with two links. One is for all your tasks and one is just for tasks delegated to you. You can also enable or disable different projects, depending on what you want to sync. Copy the link with your choice.
  3. Open Google Calendars and find the “Other Calendars” drop down, typically on the lower left side of the screen. Click that button and choose the “Add by URL” option.
  4. Paste the link you copied in step 2. Your calendar should now show your due dates!
