The Priority Matrix Outlook Calendar Connector is part of our task connectors suite, which brings external data into Priority Matrix as read-only projects. The Outlook connector specifically lets you view your Microsoft Outlook calendar events directly within Priority Matrix, creating a seamless workflow where you can see all your time commitments – both tasks and meetings – in one place.
What is the Outlook Connector and Why Should You Use It?
The Outlook Connector creates a read-only project in Priority Matrix that displays your Outlook calendar events. This integration is valuable when you need to:
- See your meetings and appointments alongside your Priority Matrix tasks
- Plan task work around scheduled meetings
- Stay in Priority Matrix while keeping track of your calendar
- Make scheduling decisions with full context of your commitments
How Does the Outlook Connector Work?
The connector establishes a one-way synchronization from your Outlook calendar to Priority Matrix:

Common Questions About the Outlook Connector
Is this a two-way sync?
No, the Outlook Connector is a one-way sync that brings your Outlook calendar events into Priority Matrix as read-only items. To modify calendar events, you’ll need to make changes in Outlook.
Which Outlook calendars are included?
The connector syncs your primary Outlook calendar. Shared calendars and secondary calendars may require additional configuration.
Can I control which events appear in Priority Matrix?
The connector respects your Outlook calendar privacy settings. Events marked as “private” in Outlook will NOT be synced to Priority Matrix.
How often does the calendar sync?
The calendar connector refreshes once an hour. We are working on an instant sync process, but there are some limitations, and we can’t make guarantees about this at the moment. Once it’s ready, it’ll simply start syncing faster without you having to make any changes.
