YOUR PRIVACY IS OUR PRIORITY
Inside our efforts to comply with GDPR and preserve your privacy
In 2016, the European Commission approved and adopted the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We can confirm that Appfluence is compliant with the GDPR as of May 25, 2018.
The GDPR requirements were significant and our team worked hard, and continues to do so, to keep our products and services compliant now and in the future. Measures to achieve this included:
- • Continue to invest in our security infrastructure
- • Updating and clarifying our privacy policy with the kinds of data we gather, what we do with it, and so on
- • Explaining the reason behind all our data gathering forms, and the types of processing we do
- • Providing a tool to export all your data in a machine readable format
- • Set up an internal process for dealing with privacy requests
Subject Access Requests (SARs)
You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you. To submit a Subject Access Request, please email us at sars@appfluence.com.
We will respond to your request within one month and provide you with a copy of your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. If your request is complex or we receive multiple requests from you, we may extend the response time by up to two additional months, and we will inform you of this extension within one month of receiving your request.
