We’re excited to bring you the ability to add files to your Priority Matrix items. Now when you have to get a file out to your team— whether it’s word documents, pdfs, images, or more, you can simply drag the file to your desired project to upload and distribute to your teammates. Your teammates will then be able to download those files straight onto their computers.
Rather than searching through emails to find the right files, now you’ll be able to easily organize and prioritize your files in your Priority Matrix projects. There are two ways to upload files on Priority Matrix. To upload a single file, you can simply drag and drop the file into a quadrant. Rename the file to something easy to find. To upload multiple files on a single item or task, select the item, click the “files” button in the details bar, and click the upload button. Select your desired files, holding shift or command to select multiples, and hit open. The files will load in the item and now can be downloaded by anyone with access to this project. Each item with a file will have a paper clip or a file cabinet next to it to indicate this item has files attachments.
Once your file is uploaded, you can add details just like any other item in Priority Matrix, allowing you to add due dates, notes, assignments and more to the files. Now if you need an important document to be read by a certain deadline, you can upload here, date and assign to ensure timely delivery. Once a file is uploaded, to download, double click on the item to open or select the desired files and click the download button. To delete, click the trash button.
