A classic blog that we all look up to because they cover every imaginable topic. You have also probably come across their ranking articles once or twice like America’s 100 Most Trusted Companies and America’s Best Small Companies. Has your company made any of their lists?
Oh, and articles are published so often; you will not be able to keep up!
2. Inc
Are you a startup company? Do you want to take your company to the next level? Are innovation and growth on your mind? Inc will help. Their goal is “to help your small business grow,” and they definitely keep their promise.
Overall, the articles are fascinating. Once you read one article, you won’t want to stop (reading and learning!).
3. Entrepreneur
Another classic that covers a ton of helpful topics. I love their “How To” articles the most. I find them to be inspirational and valuable. The advice has helped me set out to achieve more than I have ever imagined. Check out one of my favorite “How To” articles, How to Sell a Product: 5 Ways to Sell Itself.
At the top of their articles, they also list approximately how many minutes it should take you to read the article. If it is going to take more time than you can afford, just bookmark it for later!
4. Backlinko
Backlinko is one of the best SEO blogs out there. On Backlinko, I’ve found dozens of actionable strategies and guides that not only point me in the right direction as a marketer, but also provide step-by-step guides to implement new strategies.
If you’re looking to boost your SEO, you cannot ignore Backlinko’s expertise.

1. Barry Moltz
Barry has a lifetime of experience and as an entrepreneur. He’s opened up many different businesses, some of which went well, and others not so well. His expertise can help you avoid mistakes help you put your best foot forward. If you are in a funk, read his blog to get out of it. If you just want some advice on how to proceed, read his blog to find it. He makes our list of best business blogs thanks to his wealth of knowledge and experience.
Barry also gave me a quote which is quite useful:

2. Mirasee
This blog sets itself apart from the rest because of the plethora of different topics it covers. Do you need to read about business strategies? Mirasee has you covered. What about productivity? Covered. Reaching your audience? Covered. Growing your business? Again, covered. I can keep going, but then I would waste the time you can be spending on Mirasee.
3. Women on Business
I personally love the list articles that they offer like “4 Creative Ways to use Mobile Payments in Your Retail Business.” Sometime we can get a lot out of a quick and easy read.
However, if list articles are not for you, they have articles in every format you can imagine. The site is also clean cut, which allows them to provide a tremendous amount of content in a way that’s not overwhelming.
And don’t think this blog is just for women. While a lot of the content is directed to women, men can learn a lot from it, too.
Founder and Editor and Chief Susan Gunelius tells us the ultimate goal of the blog. She says:

4. Chic CEO
Chic CEO is a blog targeted toward streamlining the business process. Their site includes everything from a business toolkit, and a smart guides from everything to inventing a product and finding funding.

5. The Savvy Biz Blog
First we were chic, and now we are going to be savvy, too.
As their web page says, the Savvy Biz Blog offers simple Linked-In solutions to up your Linked-In game. Their content is targeted toward mall businesses, and a majority of their content mentions a lot about different types of online marketing.
6. Business Banter
“Learn, build and grow your business” with Business Banter. I enjoy that they mix all of their informative posts with some motivational ones. Come on, we live stressful lives. Motivate me now! Shameer Shah, founder and editor of Business Banter told me:

As a content marketer, I have learned so much from this blog on effective content marketing. I have also incorporated a lot of these skills into my practice.
Another thing I have learned is how to create stellar infographics and improve domain authority. All in all, a very well-rounded blog that contains actionable insights for any new marketer.

Running a top-notch website is important for any business. For this reason you must attract people, especially from your target audience, to your site. You don’t even have to be a tech wizard to learn some value skills to boost your SEO (I’m certainly not). While the information that is being thrown at you might seem overwhelming at the beginning, your website will benefit if you follow their advice.
4. JeffBullas.com
Very interesting information covering every topic pertaining to marketing that you can think of. Social media? Check. Driving traffic to your website? Check. Content marketing? Check. SEO? Check.
This is probably one of my favorite articles that I have read called How to Get the Most Out of Your Personal Facebook Page (Without Getting Fired). Some of the information in the article is pretty basic, but it is still important. A good read!
5. Moz Blog
I love Moz. As a matter of fact, I’d argue it’s one of the best “best business blogs” on our list.
Their website states the blog’s purpose very clearly:
“The industry’s top wizards, doctors, and other experts offer their best advice, research, how-tos, and insights—all in the name of helping you level-up your SEO and online marketing skills.”
So does it actually live up to these expectations? Yes! They have so many different contributors writing these posts and lots of them! You are bound to find an article (or twenty) that will help you.
6. Boom Social
In this day and age, your social media strategy must be myriad in order to attract different types of demographics. Boom Social will help you MASTER social media (in regards to your business, of course).
I appreciate the simplicity of their articles. They are not written in a complicated way that makes your eyes exhausted. In sum, all of the content on this blog is interesting and informative.

With this blog, I went back and forth between putting it under blogs that do it all or in the small businesses category. As you can see, it made it to the small business category hence the title, “Small Business Trends.”
This is another well-rounded blog that covers everything. It is definitely (and obviously) targeted to small businesses, but anyone can benefit from reading this blog in the long run.
2. Small Biz Daily
Another blog that covers all of your sales, marketing, business, startup, and management needs (with wonderful content).
3. The U.S. Small Business Association
On this blog is, you know that you are getting advice from credible AND qualified individuals. This blog also contains a variety of articles. For example:

These guys know what they’re talking about
1. Denise Lee Yohn
Denise Lee Yohn is the master of brand building. Companies ranging from Sony, Frito Lay, and Burger King have sought after her for her expertise. If these world renowned companies put their faith in Denise, so should you! Need help building your brand? Check out her blog!
2. Heidi Cohen
In her Actionable Marketing Guide, Heidi Cohen gives you access to helpful marketing tips, tricks, and advice. She takes what can be complicating information and makes it “easy-to-understand” whether you specialize in marketing or have no idea what marketing is.
Her website explains that “Every Actionable Marketing Guide article includes valuable insights along with practical tips and tactics you can easily apply to your current marketing and business plans.”
Oh, and there is lots of variety on her blog (if you have read this far, you should know that I love blogs with a variety of different types of content).

The blog owner, Dr Dave Chaffey, is the CEO and Co-Founder of Smart Insights. His ultimate goal is to help businesses succeed.
